Last year Jay-Z and Kanye West released a song called “Otis,” a shout-out tribute to Otis Redding. Redding, who died at 26, has dominated the OTIS crossword clue angles for years. And for good reason. I’m not as keen on the Kanye West/Jay-Z song as I am on the title, and its dedicatee. It’s nice to have a fresh, misleading (heh) clue for OTIS, thank you very much.
I’ll use any excuse to play “When a Man Loves A Woman.” Otis Redding deserves every crossword clue that will ever be written about him.
